UPDATES!
Hey all, I have some updates for the site. So please take the time to read as some are upcoming and others are already in effect.
First I have been receiving a high volume in emails/ social media messages. Some are correctly placed while others are pretty much an abuse of contact information. I say this because the emails listed are NOT to be used as a direct line of communication for mundane conversation. They are in place to report site issues or service questions. I have also been receiving an obscene amount of spam emails which is obviously unrelated to you guys. But these reasons are initially why I removed my sites live chat option because both type of people were abusing it the same way instead of using it for what it was intended. Now it seems as though the same issue is happening in my emails. So please refrain from doing this if you are one of these people as this is a business, not a social club. That is what social media is for. And I would ideally like to separate the two. So hopefully we can make that possible moving forward.
Next I would like to discuss the forums. I don't mind if you guys post on the forums. In fact I welcome it. But please ensure you are using the appropriate forum to post what you are posting. For example it you are a model or photographer, you post in the models and photographer forum. Not the gamer forum..not the music forum..ect. Feel free to promote your content all you want. Just please do it in the correct forum. Thank you in advance.
Which brings me to my booking forms...Please stop filling it out for services I don't offer. Or Filling it out incomplete. It goes to my email which contributes to the high volume. I will not respond to these. But it seems like not responding results in spamming the same form. So this is me responding. Please stop it. Thank you.
Now, If you have signed up for my website. For free, not a paid subscription and have yet to make a profile, please do so. The reason being is I have gotten reports of members claiming their profile was removed. This is because although your email may be registered on the site, you have not been added into the system as an official member. Which means your logins are not being recorded and after a certain amount of time, contacts are removed to make new for active ones. So please be sure you have a members profile on the "Madiacs" page. This also allows you to post on forums, connect with other members, earn madgic points, and collect badges.
And finally, please remember to read newsletters and updates in this forum and through your email. I know reading can be daunting. But its important when I am updating you guys on content, known issues, fixes, ect. I don't just make updates because I have nothing else to do or just for funzies. This would also save a bunch of time if I didn't have to answer every single person that emails me who could have just checked this forum or my newsletter for updates. Anyway, thank you all in advance for reading this. And for all the love and support. More updates soon as I am still in the process of working on my site and fixing some of the issues that have been reported.
