Hello everyone! I'm Joe and I'm a guitarist and composer looking to pass on my skills to others. I go to Berklee College of Music where I major in Classical and Jazz Composition. As a guitarist, I mostly play Rock/Metal/Prog/Jazz etc. but I can do pretty well playing nearly any style. I'm here to offer guitar and general music lessons to anyone and everyone remotely - via Skype, Discord, Zoom, etc.

As a guitar teacher, I'm able to teach anyone at any level. I focus on the needs and wants of the student. If you want you to learn some basic chords or learn some songs to play at parties or in front of people, then that's what I'll teach! If you want to advance your technique on the fretboard and tackle some more difficult riffs and licks, then I'll teach you that too! I'm here to nurture your creativity and personal voice.

But if you don't want to learn how to play the guitar, then I'm here for you too! Like I said, I'm here to nurture your creativity and personal voice. If you have a song in your head that needs help getting out, then come to me and help you work that out. If you want to learn how to write for an orchestra or a Jazz band or any instruments that you're unfamiliar with, I can do that for you too. Or even if you're a singer/songwriter who has a melody, but no chords, or vice versa, I'm more than happy to aid you in putting together that puzzle. I want to offer my years of training in music composition and arranging to help others write the songs they want to write. I'm very passionate about making music and how it works and how we can best express ourselves through this artform.

If you are interested, please email me at jsmlessons@gmail.com with your availability.

My rates are $30/half hour, $50/hour. Slots are open 9am-5pm EST, Friday - Sunday.

Thanks! It's a pleasure getting to know you guys!
